The vine :
- Located in Rouffach, in the South of Alsace, the Clos Saint Landelin, monopoly of the Muré family, covers 15 hectares (37.5 acres). It’s situated at the southern end of the grand cru Vorbourg. Its steep south facing slopes are cultivated in terraces. The soil is clay and limestone with a lot of stones. The subsoil is made of calcareous sandstone from the Bajocien and calcareous conglomerates from the Oligocene. The vineyard is in organic farming.

- Vinification : slow fermentation and maturation on fine lees
- Acidity in sulfuric acid : 3,7 grams / litre
- Residual sugar : 83 grams / litre
- Alcohol : 13.5% / volume

- Ageing potential : more than 20 years
- Tasting notes :
The nose is mature and delicate and reminds orange and peach marmelade, a touch of pepper mint refreshes it. The rich and crystallized mouth has a great persistency. The wine represents a fine expression of the Clos St Landelin terroir. The finals is powerful and harmonious.
