The vine :

Sheltered by the highest peaks of the Vosges mountains, this terroir receives an exceptional amount of sunshine. The mainly calcareous subsoil ensures good drainage. The exposure of the hillsides goes from east to south-west. In 2005 the INAO (Institut National des Appellations d’Origine) acknowledge the denomination « Côte de Rouffach » as a communal appellation.

- Date of harvest : September 8th 2011

- Wine made : with grapes from organic farming

- Yield : 60 hl / ha

- Vinification : slow fermentation and maturation on fine lees

- Residual sugar : 12,5 grams / litre

- Acidity : 6,32 grams / litre

- Alcohol : 13,5 % / volume

- Tasting notes:

The wine has a pale yellow colour. The nose evokes the vine peach, pear, vanilla. The mouth is more exotic (mango, papaya, tangerine), fresh and complex. The finish is silky, pure and long.
