A guide to the wines and terroirs

RIESLING and RIESLING COTE DE ROUFFACH : dry, with nice acidity, mineral notes and aromas of lemon. The best companion of grilled fish, seafood or choucroute.

PINOT GRIS and PINOT GRIS COTE DE ROUFFACH : smooth wines, with fruity and smoked aromas. Go well with starters, fish in sauce or poultry, but can be enjoyed throughout the meal.

GEWURZTRAMINER and GEWURZTRAMINER COTE DE ROUFACH : spicy, with aromas of lychee and roses. Excellent as an aperitif or with exotic food, for example a lamb curry, or desserts.

PINOT NOIR and PINOT NOIR COTE DE ROUFFACH : attractive ruby red color, with aromas of red fruits. Pair with red meats or grilled foods.

SYLVANER and PINOT BLANC : light, fruity and fresh. Drink with starters and simple courses.

MUSCAT : very aromatic, reminiscent of the muscat grape. A very nice aperitif and a perfect companion to asparagus.

CREMANT D’ALSACE : delicate and elegant, with fine bubbles, it’s a good way to begin a dinner or celebrate a big event.

RIESLING VORBOURG, ZINNKOEPFLE and CLOS ST LANDELIN : racy wines with fine and elegant acidity, they go well with fish in sauce, such as salmon or perch.

PINOT GRIS LUTZELTAL and CLOS ST LANDELIN : rich, with aromas of white fruits. Enjoy with foie gras, cheese or white meats in cream sauce, such as blanquette de veau.

GEWURZTRAMINER SCHULZENGASS, VORBOURG and CLOS ST LANDELIN : nice aromas of exotic fruits and roses. Drink alone, or with exotic food, sweet and salty food, or Munster cheese.

PINOT NOIR « V » and CLOS ST LANDELIN : red wines with great concentration, best decanted and served at cellar temperature. Pair with red meat, duck or game.

SYLVANER « CUVEE OSCAR » CLOS ST LANDELIN : made from old vines, it’s a full and generous wine, in wich the terroir is stronger than the grape-variety.

VENDANGES TARDIVES (late harvest) : a grand vin made from super ripe grapes. Powerful, it can be enjoyed alone anytime or as an aperitif. Also a perfect match with foie gras and strong cheeses.

SELECTION DE GRAINS NOBLES : made from grapes exhibiting noble rot (Botrytis). A concentrated, sweet wine to serve as a sumptuous conclusion to your meal.
