the plantations

In order to create a competition beetwen the roots, the new plantations are made at a high density (10 000 vineplants per hectare). This competition decreases the strength of the plant, the number of bunches per plant and the size of the bunches and bays. It obliges the roots to go down more deeply in the subsoil. This constitutes factors very favorable to the quality of the wine.
