The vine :

The named-place «Schulzengass» is located downwards the Grand Cru Vorboug on a more fertile ground but with a good draining due to the well-known calcareous stony sub-soil of Rouffach. The degrees are high because the south-eastern exposure is perfectly appropriate to ensure a high maturity. The Muré family’s vineyard located in the Schulzengass is cultivated in organic farming.

  • Vinification : Slow fermentation (natural yeast) and maturation on fine lees
