The last bunches were cut on October 13th and the cuvées slowly finish their fermentation in the cellar.
The harvest began on August 28th: the first plots harvested were Chardonnays, vinified in Crémant d'Alsace.
September and October were very hot and dry, and allowed us to harvest beautiful grapes of pinot noir, pinot gris and gewurztraminer. The harvest of Rieslings was less generous on this variety more sensitive to drought.
These 2023 harvests are the promise of beautiful wines.
The harvest finally begin. As usual, the first grapes cutted were the chardonnays which are used to make Crémant d'Alsace. During this week, the team harvested the pinots noirs Côte de Rouffach and Lutzeltal. The next step will be on Monday 11th and Tuesday 12th for the pinots noirs Clos Saint Landelin and Vorbourg.
